Playing Our Part
Sanokil will be taking part in Jeans for Genes day again this year to raise money and help find cures for children’s genetic diseases. On the 5th of august, volunteers across Australia will be working together to collect donations, sell merchandise and raise awareness about Jeanes for genes day. Our staff will all be wearing our jeans and raising money to go towards a good cause.
Why It’s So Important
1 in 20 children are faced with a genetic disease or birth defect. The Children’s Medical Research Institute has already made strides in research that will improve the lives of children with genetic disorders. Its research is aimed at finding cures and treatments. The institute has helped develop surgery techniques, created care plans for premature infants and even helped eliminate Rubella.
What You Can Do
There are a number of things you can do to help the cause. You can hold a Jeans for Genes Day at your workplace, collect donations, or purchase merchandise such as pens and t-shirst.
